Its very cold here at my house today. I never even took off my P.J.'s. I did play with the clay a little bit and made some mini peanut butter dream bars. Yummy. I was really avoiding the real world today. Wish I could spend more time with the mini one.......But its time to make some real dinner. Happy New Year!
Today I was messing around with my miniatures again and made this chocolate mascarpone cheescake cup. I will be making one in real life later today. Here is my miniature version. Okay........back to the real world. Time to get the kids from school. Happy Holidays!
Okay.... I'm having the best time making miniature baked goods. Can you tell how much I enjoy cake? I really do. We almost always have a cake or cupcakes here in my house. Now I just need to find time to work on my bakery. Soon I hope. Oh well I'll just make more cakes. BIG SMILES.......
Ahhh tire problems taking kids to school today. Very cold. Forgot everything on my list. Came home had some tea and made a mini chocolate cake. Much better now... Thought I would share.
A visit with another past project. Another shabby style bakery I made in Dec. 07. Old pictures are fun......... Helps you to remember what you've done. Ahhhh sweet memories!
I have been having the best time with the mini baked goods. I put this cake slice on top of the picture that inspired it. I can never get enough chocolate and I don't think that will ever change.
Hello, I have some shabby chic for a new friend. I have been working on some things for Joanna and Jody's dollhouse. I hope they like them. Smiles.......
Here are some cupcakes baked fresh for the shop. My newest bakery is coming along now. And best of all I will have made everything. Smiles........ So happy!
Okay.........So I would rather play with my dolls than participate in the real world. We have made a cake to share with our stuffed buuny. I can't think of a better day.
A miniature cake made of clay......... looks like the real thing and smells like it too! Red velvet and white buttercream. Just some favorites of mine.
Ahhh! Melting ice cream and your good friends. Looks like a miniature party. These are my newest dolls from Bonnie Justice. The girls are in my 1:12 scale ice cream shoppe. I called it "SCOOPS"
My name is Kim.I'm a mom of 5 but only 1 is still at home.I love my family but I also have a thing for 1:12 scale miniatures. I have been collecting and creating for 22 years now and have developed a love for polymer clay.I started playing with it over 3 years ago and can't seem to put it down, I also enjoy the shabby chic style in my miniatures. Miniature shops are my favorite things to create. I have completed many dollhouses, shops, and roomboxes. I enjoy it so much I thought it might be a fun thing to blog about. I hope you enjoy my miniature world. A world I sometimes prefer...
