Something for the mini kitchen

Hello, this little set was inspired by my mini dollhouse kitchen I'm creating right now. I promise to share pictures of the dollhouse here soon. Coming up with new things to make for it and do to it every day. I love fresh baked goodies. Don't you? I had some of this pretty wallpaper from my mini kitchen and I love it so I used it on this little baking table. I imagine the warm pie smell and fresh baked still a little warm cookies. I baked mini apple pies

Getting ready for mini move in day!

Just spent the morning going through my collection and figuring out what will go into the new kitchen. Did I mention I'm re-doing a dollhouse? Pictures soon. Cherry pie and a vintage stove

Gave a fresh look to a vintage english stove and baked a cherry pie too. I think they look good together. The tiniest things make me happy. Remember to do what makes you happy and be nice to others always. Well thats it for today. Mini hugs~

Something for someone special

Okay so some of you may recognize the cookies in the beginning of this post. They are the real cookies made by the fabulously talented Mercedes. I promised her that I would try to make them in miniature for her and Miss Liberty. Well I kept my promise and here they are. Mini Hugs~

Happy 2012 resolve to do it better

I thought I would start this post with some words before minis. I know I have been long over do for a post. I want to start off with a Happy New Year wish. So " Happy New Year" I was thinking about all I want to do in this new year and there is lots. But really the more I thought about it the more I kept coming back to the word " Better". Better friend, better mom. better eater, better blogger etc. the list goes on. It isn't a bad word not at all. For me it gives me hope and strength to know that no matter what I want to do things better. Be kind, love lots and most of all stop worrying about what you can't change and start doing something about what you can. Happy 2012 friends...... Post with minis coming soon. Since I haven't been a good blogger lately I thought I would just let the pictures speak for themselves. They express just some of what I have been doing over the last few weeks. Its all in a days work

So today started out with a empty little display unit. Painted shabby white a week ago I had a hard time deciding what to put inside. Should it be bread?, should it be cupcakes?, and then I decided I wanted to fill it with muffins. And so my day began....... I made blueberry, blueberry crumb, cherry, cherry crumb, chocolate, lemon poppy seed, pumpkin and banana. I'm happy to have it done and I think it turned out just as I hoped. I hope you like it too. Off to bed I go with a homemade pumpkin muffin in my hand. Nothing like the real thing....... its what inspires me. Till next time. Mini hugs~

Mini baking with blueberries and cherries

I love blueberries and I love cherries and boy do I wish these were real right now. I think I will be running to the store in a bit to help with this craving these minis have caused me to have tonight. Thought I would share them with you and see if they have the same effect.
