A special request.....Mom builds a dollhouse
Well today I finished up a special order Mom builds a dollhouse. My mini version of my real life. My kids don't know what our kitchen table looks like. Lol. And look the vintage lace already is being used. I'm sure many of you can relate to this scene.Happy creating and Mini hugs!
Kim....as always...WONDERFUL!!! Love all the detail, such a delight to look at!! Did have a laugh at 'linsminis' I'm glad she clarified her comment as I had no idea why she would take a 'big bat to bed' poor hubby!!
Well,I had a good giggle on Linsminis' comment then I turned to the table. OMG it's gorgeous. And it's like mine apart from the choco bar, I seldom, if ever, eat chocolate. My family is already fed up with minis.Big hugs
Thanks so much. I knew you all could relate to the dollhouse on the kitchen table. Glad you like it. Its one I enjoy doing. Glad it fooled you too! It means I achieved the look I wanted. Smiles and mini hugs!
I thought it was real and you were commenting on your kitchen table :) and then I looked quickly the other photos and read the text... It's delightful! So precise and gorgeous!
mini hugs! p.s. linda, always looking for chocolate (and wine)... XD
WOW!!! That's incredible, I thought You were building a dollhouse, until I looked closer and seen that extremly large bear in the background..hehehe!! It's Perfect!!! Katie
Do you know how many times I enlarged the pictures trying to figure out if it was real or not? I even thought you might have a giant bear behind the table. The chair was even so real looking. Fantastic scene and it really had me fooled.
Hi Kim Gorgeous as always:) I wish my table was as picturesque when working. I have a workroom but still keep ending up in the dining room somehow. Have a house on the table right now.
Oh my goodness, Kim! How absolutely wonderful! I love it! Again, I couldn't tell if it was life size or miniature until I read the description . . . you amaze me!
Your attention to detail is outstanding! The chocolate, the MasterCard, the phone . . . all of the essentials! LOL!!

My name is Kim.I'm a mom of 5 but only 1 is still at home.I love my family but I also have a thing for 1:12 scale miniatures. I have been collecting and creating for 22 years now and have developed a love for polymer clay.I started playing with it over 3 years ago and can't seem to put it down, I also enjoy the shabby chic style in my miniatures. Miniature shops are my favorite things to create. I have completed many dollhouses, shops, and roomboxes. I enjoy it so much I thought it might be a fun thing to blog about. I hope you enjoy my miniature world. A world I sometimes prefer...
