Creating a beautiful life one mini at a time..........

Happy Fall and a long overdo post

October means a trip to the pumpkin patch. Corn mazes, pie, and warm cider. The holidays are coming!

I love the colors of Fall. When I did this miniature baking hutch all I could think was yellow. I think red is the perfect color to be with this yellow. Don't you? This hutch makes me so happy! Candy apples and pumpkin pie too!

A miniature bike leaning on the old barn.  Just look at that perfect wicker bike basket created by Lidi Stroud. Check out her etsy shop Basketcase miniatures. We picked sunflowers. I love miniatures!

Old miniature barn aged with time. It is perfectly shabby chic inside. I have some future plans for this one.

I had the best time creating a miniature barn party scene. Don't you just love the little hay bales? This is one of my favorite pictures. It was a very hot morning when I took this pic.

There is always time to squeeze in a new mini kitchen. I painted this one instead of using wallpaper on the walls. I used a Martha Stewart blue and I think the darker wood was the perfect accent to this wonderful blue. Look there is stew on the stove and fresh pie cooling on the counter.

Tiny pumpkin love......
The beauty of Fall is showing itself everywhere. I took this picture on my hike today! I do hope you are finding time to get out and enjoy the color changes. It really is wonderful and so good for the soul. You will be glad you did.

Catching that beauty in miniature has been the best time ever! I hope you have enjoyed my first post  of  Fall. I plan on  trying to be a better blogger. I know I have said it before but all I can do is try! Thanks to those of you who write me emails to encourage me to come back. So nice to know I've been  missed and for you I will try harder. Oh and before I leave you I have to mention that our wonderful Fall miniologie is available @ miniologie.com.  Till next time....

Wonderful autumn atmosphere. I love that last photo, bountiful harvest, gorgeous colours and the weather still nice enough to sit outside...

Yay!! Finally, so glad to see you back. I absolutely adore the yellow baking hutch. Especially the pull out cutting board. Did you build it from a kit or a tutorial? I actually just built an old food safe from a mini book I checked out at the library. Yes, I know that's old fashioned but I'm old fashioned. What can I say? Lol. Anyway, I painted mine in Benjamin Moores Showtime Yellow. The inside is stained wood & there is screen on the 2 doors. I'm so pleased w' how it turned out. I love your barn scene too. My fondest childhood memories are of time spent at my aunt & uncles farm in Paducah, Kentucky. Well thanks for sharing. Keep em' coming as often as you can. Happy Fall ya'll!

Fabulous pictures, great hutch, great barn and I love the Fall Miniology. Fall is such a lovely colorful season. It is Spring in New Zealand but winter has decided to make a comeback over the last couple of days with cold, blustery wet weather.

As for the run, I can not speak (I wrote a post today after six months of silence!), But I know how life can be hectic, so much to keep us away from our interests ... But you're very busy on many fronts, and if you neglect the blog, is always to create fantastic things elsewhere :-)
I love the image of the bicycle: really hard to believe that it is a miniature :-)
W fall and good intentions :-)
Lovely hugs,
Flora
