My tree is decorated, presents are wrapped and baking has begun.....Okay that is my big life but this is my blog about my miniature life. So I thought I would share some pictures of my miniature Christmas. I hope you all have a very Happy Holiday and Very Happy New Year. I must go and frost some sugar cookies. Mini hugs!

Life........

I had a nice weekend. Weather was cold and rainy so I decided to make tortilla soup and baked a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting. Finishing up some special requests and had fun filling some of my mini glass jars like my real size glass jars in my kitchen. Mine hold my flour and sugar.

I think it is funny how much my miniature world mirrors my real world or how much it is full of how I would like things to be. Thats what its all about to me. Seeing what I can recreate in miniature. So many times I don't know for sure which size I'm seeing life in. Does any one else know what I mean? I'm positive you do. I know there tends to be the never ending debate in the mini world of who made what first.... which most days I find funny. We are all copying something.....Its called "Life". Mini hugs~

Muffins anyone?

So todays project has been muffins. Blueberry, pumpkin spice, chocolate and lemon poppy seed. These are for a special order bakers rack. I still need to make the little papers and then I'm done. Shhhhhh.......I think this one is a Christmas gift. Not much new at my house. Just trying to hold on like so many others. I do hope that whatever happens I will still always find time to work on minis. Okay....I'm off to make little papers for the little muffins. Mini hugs!

Cream puffs and cupcakes that has been todays work. I started these last night and finished them up this morning. Kids are out Christmas shopping. Hubby is at work and I'm watching lifetime movies and working on miniatures. Really my kind of day. Daughter is taking me to dinner tonight so I must go clean up and get ready to go. Have yourself a mini little Christmas...

If you walked into my house today you would find a sugar cookie candle burning, music playing and little polymer clay Christmas baked goods happening. I have found myself trying hard to find the mood. This candle smells yummy and makes up for the fact that polymer clay does not.

A bakers rack and some coconut cakes are all I had time for......

I thought I would share the only miniature creations that I was able to get to this weekend. Went to a fishing show with my husband, Baked some real goodies for a birthday dinner and spent time with my kids. If only there was time for it all. Mini hugs!

Sweet stuff everywhere....

Thought I would share just some of the sweet creations sitting on my desk this week. Yes I enjoyed having a clean desk for a couple days but back to having minis all over again. I guess thats just how it is going to be. I don't know how to do it any other way. I have alot of mini projects in the works now just to finish them. Do you have that problem too? Do you start something and then start on a new thing before you have finished? I have so many things I want to make. Focus....focus... focus.... I'm trying. Happy weekend everyone! Mini hugs!

Before and After........I cleaned my desk today!

I'm so happy I finally made some time to clean up my work space. I do not have my own room where I work on minis. I have a small space in my kitchen. It is important I keep my space open or it gets so crazy trying to make ANYTHING! So last night I started cleaning up and just finished it today. Much better I think. Now I probably won't be able to find anything but at least I have some space again. Happy weekend everyone. Mini hugs!

Frosting ginger bread men is what I've been doing today........

Today we had a major weather change. There is a chill in the air and no sun today. Feels like rain. I think it put me in a baking mood. I worked on some little frosted ginger bread men. Should have been working on my mini bakery but felt like doing smaller projects instead. I also managed to get a pork roast in the crock for my family. Today has been good and I hope it has been for you as well. Mini hugs!

Just finished the shelf for the new kitchen.......

I had a little time to work on this shelf this weekend. I put some of the wonderful books from Mercedes on it. Thank you again. I'm having so much fun playing with these. This is going in a new kitchen I'm working on.

I really haven't had as much time for miniatures as I'd like these days but I always find time to squeeze something in. I enjoyed this and I hope you do too! Mini hugs!

A shabby baking hutch......today's project

So todays work is a shabby baking hutch, along with 4 loads of laundry and a pot roast. Still trying to get caught up here in my real world. I think everyone has socks again. Miniature world is always calling to me. This one has been sitting around just waiting to be finished. So its done too! I hope you like it. I hope to have more mini time tomorrow now that some house work has been done. Mini hugs!
